I've been around livejournal for quite a few years, but was more of the lurking type, reading entries and following specific people. Finally, I've decided to get my own, particularly for the purpose of posting literature and poetry. I've spent the evening setting this up, rather than studying for the finals I have next week. Don't we all love procrastinating?

It's unbelievably hot here, but stormed the whole evening, so I spent a while listening to the sobering percussion of the rain.
