most stars are of almost constant luminosity. our own sun is a good example of one which goes through relatively little variation in brightness (usually about 0.1% over an 11 year solar cycle). many stars, however, undergo significant variations in luminosity, and these are known as variable stars.
'teenage girl' is such a typical stereotype. lover perhaps comes first in my little box of titles, for I have been known to love profoundly, whether it be directed towards friends, family or a boy. there is a boy, as there is for almost all girls. lingerer? yes, i think far too much, focus on the ‘what if’s and ‘maybe’s. dreamer too. you can hardly see my head for all the clouds. typical? no. but nobody really is.
tools of the trade: pen, pencil, camera, paint, photoshop – practically anything i lay my hands on. writing is my primary passion, but also the very thing which i have been accused of hiding behind. it's by far the most personal, certainly. photography came second, mostly just snapshots here and there, though i've begun to take more notice of light, angle and all the technique. photoshop? well, i've taught myself through fooling around and playing with it. the picture above is an example of such gallivanting. but only recently have i returned to my roots of traditional art, a thing i boycotted since youth, due to the fact that my mother used to be an art teacher. i have been unable to resist the temptation, though, and years of resisting have finally failed.
